It’s Wedding Week!

If you’re a client of mine, follow me on social media, or know me in person—you undoubtedly have heard about our daughter, Kassidy and Luke’s wedding for a few months now. I was going through pictures and it is hard to believe it has been 9 months since their engagement. I have often joked that preparing for this wedding is like preparing for a new baby—9 months and all!

We have checked some boxes these past few months— and in case you’re wondering how we’re doing this month of May in the year of our Lord, 2025…it’s fine, we’re all fine…

We just came off a beautiful weekend of celebrating our graduates—Luke, Kassidy, and Kourtney.

And now here we are. Everyone is moved home, cars are almost unpacked, laundry mostly done, and rooms cleaned (I think? Not going to look…) We are just waiting on Natalie to finish up her shifts at the hospital and then we will all be together for one last time as a family preparing to add Luke to the mix next Saturday!

These two are now together after 3 years of separation by states and even a country for one semester.

The shenanigans of wedding crunch time and final details has begun—and truly these two are having the best time knowing they will never be apart again.

As always, I am so thankful for my Shine community! This has been a busy month with lots of scheduling and re-scheduling. Thank you for your flexibility and understanding. I will be taking time away for the next week to soak up this special time (among a few other things-ha!). I will be scheduling appointments beginning Wednesday, June 4th.
