It’s a SHINE Christmas in July!

Well it for sure doesn’t feel like Christmas here in Central Kansas, but that is not going to stop us from celebrating and treating you to a special offer as we finish out the last two weeks of one of the hottest months of the year!

With changes in insurance coverage over the last few months, we know there are so many families who believed their lactation support would be completely covered and were shocked to hear of the changes. We were too! We want to offer a chance for you to take advantage of professional lactation support through VideoCare visits at a discounted rate through the end of July. VideoCare visits are such a great way to ask all of your questions, talk through your challenges, and even determine if an office or home visit could be necessary. Just this last week I have done two low milk supply consults and a return to work consult. Sometimes you just need someone who knows what you’re going through to talk you off the newborn ledge! These early days and weeks can feel so lonely. We understand and want you to know you are not alone on a breastfeeding island.

It is possible that your lactation support could be covered completely and we can send you links to verify this. United Healthcare, Aetna, and Cigna have a very good chance of lactation coverage. For other insurance plans not covered through The Lactation Network and Wildflower (our partnerships) we can provide you with a “super-bill” that you can then submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
