2025 at Shine:
A Year of Growth, Support, and So Many Babies 💛
As we reflect on 2025, our hearts are full of gratitude. This year was one of connection, growth, and incredible trust from families who welcomed us into some of their most tender moments. From the first prenatal questions to late-night newborn support, it was an honor to walk alongside you.
The Babies of Shine ✨
In 2025, we had the privilege of supporting so many beautiful families, including:
2 sets of twins — and yes, all girls!
61% girls and 39% boys, filling our year with sweetness, and so many tiny personalities
Each baby brought a unique story, and we are endlessly thankful for every family who invited us into theirs.

We met families in the ways that worked best for them — through home visits, office visits, and videocare, ensuring support was accessible, personalized, and compassionate.
Near, Far, and Everywhere in Between 🌍
Our care reached both close to home and far beyond:
The closest home visit was just two blocks away
The furthest home visit took us all the way to Wamego, KS
Videocare visits connected us with families in multiple states and even one international family
No matter the distance, our goal remained the same: to provide evidence-based, heartfelt support wherever families needed us.
Growing the Shine Community
2025 was also a year of exciting growth:
We expanded lactation support to the Topeka area with the addition of Mandy Chapin, RN, IBCLC, allowing us to serve even more families with expert care.
In September, we proudly introduced SHINE Storks, a new chapter in our mission to celebrate and love on new families. This has been more fun than we could have imagined!
